The music playing comes from the Spotify libraries of everyone around you. No algorithm. No curator. Just the actual taste of your local crowd right now.
The model
Open CrowdControl and your GPS puts you in up to five community stations — your neighbourhood, city, state, country, and the whole world. You're in all of them simultaneously.
When the station needs a new track, the server picks a random listener, then a random song from their active Spotify playlists. No stored queue. No trained taste graph. The pool is whoever's tuned in right now.
Add your playlists, tune in, and your music immediately enters the mix for everyone at your level. You contribute; the listeners contribute back. The crowd is in control.
What you can do
The track pool is the live Spotify libraries of whoever is tuned in. Your taste changes the station the moment you join.
Tune in and Spotify starts at the exact position everyone else is at. Mid-song, in sync, from the first second.
When enough listeners request a skip, the station advances. Collective control — no single veto, no autoplay tyranny.
Queue a specific track from the station's pool to play next. One slot per listener, played before the random algorithm runs.
Heart a track to save it to your App Favorites playlist — separate from Spotify Liked Songs and fully editable.
Runs on Apple TV, Android TV, and visionOS. Pick your city manually and enjoy the crowd from the couch.
